Since 2021, I have been using Minecraft Creative mode to explore light, colour and material properties. I have used the game to create digital artworks, installations, and explorable spaces - including mazes, buildings, and a recreation of Enid Blyton's 'Faraway Tree', complete with hidden rooms, a secret escape route, and a land at the top of the tree, hidden by cloud.
